San Francisco's Cruise Ship Passenger Terminal is the outstanding event space you're seeking! Located on The Embarcadero at Bay Street, the terminal sits on the water and has unobstructed views of San Francisco Bay, Treasure Island and the Bay Bridge. The spacious rooms on the upper level are light and airy -- thanks to floor to ceiling windows facing the Bay. Each room opens onto a wide outside deck which runs the length of the building.

or treat your guests to an al fresco lunch or dinner on the deck.

It's easy to imagine a balmy afternoon party with the sun sparkling on the water and the waves gently lapping below. Or picture an evening affair - the deck aglow with lights, a sprinkle of stars overhead and the illuminated outline of the Bay Bridge off in the distance.

There is easy access to another large area on the lower level that can handle a crowd by itself, or provide additional space for an event that requires more room than is available on the upper floor alone. Roll-up doors and an outside deck can give main floor guests the same vistas and sea breezes that are enjoyed on the upper level. All three rooms can be reserved individually or in combination.

CAPACITY: The Banquet Room upstairs has a rated occupancy of up to 300 seated, the Parquet Reception Area seats 200 and the covered Observation Deck can accommodate 300 seated guests. Total event capacity is 1000 persons. Over 150,000 square feet of exhibition space is available on the on the main level with 13,000 square feet in the lower Passenger Terminal. The lower facility can accommodate up to 500 persons for a smaller event.

Note: Effective 8/24/99 Waterfront Promotions will no longer make the Pier 35 Passenger Terminal Event Space available to individuals. All site inspections and rentals must be arranged by professional meeting planners, caterers or destination companies.
